Five-hole belt planner

Plan a five-hole-style belt from a fold-to-working-hole measurement; adjust the odd hole count for another symmetrical layout.

Edit the planning assumptions

All starting values are design examples. Changes stay in this page’s memory; no plan is uploaded or saved automatically.

Area is not a nesting solution. Yield, labour and cost inputs are assumptions until replaced with actual records. Values shown are rounded; calculations retain full precision.

Continue with a tool

Links pass the current panel list, cost or batch values where compatible. Other tool assumptions still need checking. The standalone belt tool uses its own tip and fold presets; the planning sheet remains the reference for this custom tail.

Prototype before cutting the final hide

  1. Confirm the customer measurement uses the buckle-fold datum. Convert any pin-based measurement using the actual buckle offset.
  2. Wrap scrap of the intended stack around the actual buckle bar; check fold length and slot fit.
  3. Mark the centre hole before trimming the tail; fit the actual buckle and wearer before punching all adjustment holes.
  4. Check strap length and stretch direction on the actual hide. Total area alone cannot establish fit.
